IMUSA pot for alcohol stove

Has anyone been using the IMUSA pot with their stove? I recently picked a few up, and noticed that even after extensive cleaning of the pots interior, its still pitting a bit and leaving some weird hue to the water. Any thoughts? Hey Grinch, I know you hate wicks, however..you might want to try it with some kevlar wick from flame aeterna (sp?) that Jason Klass recommends on his site.
