Website offline Sunday evening, January 24th, 2016
Hey folks, the website will be getting an upgrade Sunday evening. During that time it will be offline. I expect the upgrade will go quickly and the site shouldn't be down for more than an hour. I can't say exactly when the upgrade will happen on Sunday. Or, I could, but it would be more like the cab...

Re: Site Updates Planned for Today
The fine print on the puzzle is a good idea Zelph.
The site updates are complete!
Included in the update is a new anti-spam measure.
I still need to develop a new style template for this version of the software though. The old style template will not work.

Re: Site Updates Planned for Today
I think this is fitting considering the complexity of the site software and the general topic of discussion on this site.zelph wrote:What would Demetri Martin do or say about the situation

Re: Site Updates Planned for Today
The updates to the site software are complete and stable! :) However, there is a problem with the old style template. Occasionally there are errors popping up. For example, when logging into the site the text becomes very large and two error codes are displayed at the top of the page. :x Until I ca...

Site Updates Planned for Today (Completed Jan. 30, 2010)
The site will be getting some updates installed today. The site may respond slowly at times while everything is backed up. During the installation of the updates the site will not be accessible for a short period. Please be patient and bear with us while these upgrades are made to BPLite. P.S. - Dep...
Re: Coffee
I tried the coffee-filter-with-a-stick method when car camping with friends two summers ago. It worked OK but I had to use two sticks to prevent the grounds from spilling and sometimes the filters ripped. Cowboy coffee was phase two. I just threw the grounds into the pot and let them settle to the b...

Re: a gram weenie is born
Yeah, I've got a 15 degree synthetic that I've had for a while... IMHO, Western Mountaineering or Montbell are good sleeping bag options. My 20 F degree WM Ultralite has served me well so far at ~33 ounces. Personally, I think 20 F degrees is a little warm in the heart of the summer in northern Min...
