Just finished the yard work. Between the mosquitos and the heat I remember why I go north to hike. It would kill someone to hike in this crap. At my house right now it's 96F with 78% humidity.

I have found that the stakes work best if they are twice as long, and doubled over. That way they are stronger and can be put in the ground in two slightly different angles. Holds in the ground better.

I've got to say I love election years. Tons of free stuff. I get all these things metal rods people put in my yard that make great stakes and pot supports. Plus, the mail woman brings me a ton of fire starting material.

This is a redneck version of what a guy in the UK did several years ago I think it was the sean the silverfox or something like that. The one the silverfox did was adjustable though.
