Well i got 2 fire piston and ever thing to make fire. A fire piston is hard to do the wood got to be hard wood or it leak air out of the side under compression plus rod must come close to bottom but not hit best to make one out of brass or alum. the bore about 3/8 hole any bigger cant push rod down...

this comes from a thread on another forum. i cant seem to find a coffee set-up that works for me, its not a real big problem. it allows me to try new set-ups until i find the one for me. anyway, what coffee set-up do ya'll use? i just ordered a 700ml ti pot so my entire cooking kit is about to chan...

I think zelph starlite would work. the trick is to get the flame to hit the fins more then the bottom. i done it with a trangia. see video on you tube seach for [RJBURG ] them are mine have fun. oops made a mistake not you tube it here i have a better cover off a alu. coffee pot the stove fit insid...

Jetboil for cheap!

Got to share this. I just got back from the Gander Mt. super store in Middletown N.Y. I picked up two Jetboil companion cook pots that fits the PCS for $13.98 each! They were on clearance. The MSRP on those pots is 39.99 Ea.! I'm wondering what soda can alcohol stove will work best with them?? Joe

Easy Mod for Swiss Ranger Cookset

This is my first post on this site, just joined today. This is an easy mod to do on the Swiss Ranger. It gives you lots of storage that the original set did not have.
