Hey, This is a little photo sequence and description of how I make Starlyte variant that uses Perlite as the absorbing medium, hence the rather uninspired name choice of the perlyte stove. I had time to fill it with absorbent material and then added 3 ounces of fuel. I then turned it up side down and nothing spills out :D I tested it outside in my greenhouse at 20 degree air temperature(cloudy) It burned for 1 hour. That equals 20 min per ounce or 10 min per half ounce. So, under opt...

£5 is just under $8 at the moment according to google, and the set up includes the mug that costs me between £1 and and £1.50 (~$1.50 - $2.50) depending on the which shops have stock at the time. Just another stove

Thought I'd post a video of my own homemade stove. I've been playing around with these on and off for a number of years, and finally found a design that I can make reliably and pretty quickly (20 mins on a good day!). Stove design is nothing new, and is a combination of a few stoves designs I found....
