So far, no issues with the lip guard. I have done several boils with it and the Fancee Feest. I did take the lip guard off mine this week, simply because I don't drink out of it, however it has been on there for quite a few burns and no issue.

Indeed..the Fancee Feest and Ridgeline are a fine match of stove and pot. Used it this weekend for cooking dinner, breakfast and coffee. Worked just fine.

In regards to the wick wrapping, in my opinion, does not work well for me. It insulates enough to take the pot off the stove without burning my fingers, but I could not pour the water into a freezer bad or another pot without it getting to uncomfortable to hold and risking dropping the can of hot wa...

Got mine this week and really like it. Really like the fact that the rings offer a method of measuring the amount of water I need to boil. Decided to try my hand at a video review.
