My problem is I spend a lot of my free doing just that, getting out and enjoying the area. I then have to find the time to spread the word. I've got a blog that I post trip reports to and I'm at least three trips ahead of the last one I published. Doh!

Closest I come to personal protection is a 12 oz. container of bear spray that comes with me on some trips. I've seen folks packing .357 and .44 sidearms up trails before but I honestly don't know why. A can of bear spray is going to deter an animal just as well as a bullet and you won't have to go ...

Good to see you're putting your down time at work to something useful for your commrades. I've been thinking about compiling something like this for the Bozeman area but I don't consider myself enough an expert yet.

Master, ha! I was kind of a superstar in Duluth but living in Bozeman is a good reality-check.
