Re: Miniture grille

nice bit of DIY there!

(a woodstove with a top grill would do the same thing. and you wouldn't have to carry the fuel, and you wouldn't have to field-dress your hot dogs ;) . just sharpen a green stick.)

This is a practically unlimited resource that won't run out and that works in any weather. knife will do for the steel? what kind of knife? A butterfly knife :DB: :DP: :DP: you can't strike a spark with a butter...

This weekend I'll be testing the MK-1 original with batch loads that are top lighted. I'm hooked on the process, got to try all kinds of...

Re: "Wood Fires" Top Lighting Technique

They really fly nice out the window of a van from a hav-a-hart... :o Ouch! Nice guy! I once saw two squirrels running from opposite directions on a electric line above the street. They met in the middle and got into a tussle with both of them plummeting to the asphalt below with a big thud/...

Re: any one have any funny stove stories?

well; it wasn't funny untill after the fires were out. i had to run faster than i like to. to test alternative fuels i built a Pepsi-G with few, and small, jets. it worked well enough with alcohol so i moved on to some alternatives. i tried a few things that worked, but were very sooty/smokey....

Re: how to waste a day (or two)

from what i've read about the green mountain barrels, they are awsome! very accurate, easy to clean, great ignition record. but i don't really want to have one and a half guns. i'd rather have two complete guns.
those Hatfields are PRETTY!!
