Re: Try this one.

They got another one. This one is hard. I guessed a tool to cut the kernels off a cob of corn, and I am wrong. Good Luck!

Re: Try this one.

Thanks for the link to Duluth. My guess was an anchor to pull logs or round stock. After placing on the pole, it is tipped to lock it on and use as an anchor. This sounds kinda lame to me, but it is the best that I could come up with.

Re: Try this one.

My guess on the sharpener is sickle bar blades. I don't think that this is right, but if it is, no prize is needed. It is just fun to see the old equipment and try to figure out how it worked.

Try this one.

Here is a contest that Duluth Trading is currently running. I guessed that it was a pipe clamp. That is way too easy and probably wrong. The winner gets their name put in a drawing for $100. Some of the users here might have the experience to win this one. Good Luck !! http://www.duluthtrading.com/f...

Re: Price of Heet

This is an old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one. The current price of Heet in the local Walmart is still $5 per 4-pack. It has only gone up 3 cents since I first posted it way back when. :DB: :DP: :DB:

Re: leatherman super tool

I'm looking over a bunch of old threads, and stumbled on this one. It might be a bit late, but I am going to throw my 2 cents in too. I have one of the really old original basic Leathermans. After years of serious abuse I broke it. When I sent it in I was not expecting them to fix it. It was old, an...

Re: Coleman 502 for sale

That's what mine looks like. When you scroll down the images that you found, there will be one with the black attachment on top. This converts the stove into a little heater to use in a small area( ice shanty, shop, etc.). The cook set is shown in several of the photos too. It is a nice little stove...

Coleman 502 for sale

I have a pretty nice Coleman 502 that is going on Ebay one of these days. It is not mint, but is better than nice. It includes the original cook kit, handle, and heater attachment. I bought it new in the early 70s. If anyone is interested let me know, and I will post some pics. For the guys on bplit...

Price of Heet

A while back we had a thread about the price of Heet yellow bottle. This is just an update.
This AM (12 Jan 11) I purchased a 4-pack of Heet yellow bottle for $4.97 in Walmart in Bartlesville, Ok.
Bartlesville is located in the NE part of the state.

Re: indispensable

The "quieter" clue is throwing me off. My answer is probably not the one you are looking for, but it would be a knife AND a hat. Everything else is pretty much optional, but when I'm outside, I want both. Some of the answers might be interesting on this one.
