I am really glad that rusty gave me the heads-up on the heat pipes because ammonia can kill... Oh well i now use it to cool my stoves down after using it... :geek:

If you want to be very 007, top secret , make the mixture and dissolve it in water, boiling water, then place tissue paper, 2-3 ply, on a baking tray and pour the mixture over it, allow it to dry in the sun, takes about 2-4 days, depending on exposure and relative humidity, it really works wonders f...

So the heat sink you show in your hand is a closed system as we see it? The copper tube is sealed? Yes it is, I have some really close up pictures below... Thanks for the info on the heat pipes, I was very close to cutting them, But I am really reconsidering that now, I have been looking into a few heat exchangers, and the idea that i ended up liking was having a basically a party hat (cone) with the top cut off filled with copper tubing... that spiral...
