Oh, so I found a sealer that looks like a paper punch, try get a picture tomorrow, it a home use one so I'll have to test on some plastic of similar thickness, The bags in question are silvered Plastic bags, not crumply like space blankets, slightly thicker, and quiet, also they are a lot stronger. ...

Give it a whirl suedo, looks good on paper, put it to the metal ;) Funny you should say that... there is a metal working shop around the corner from where I live and I took the templates to them and asked for a quotation to have it made in 0.5mm sheet metal. They quoted me R260.00 which is about $2...
