Re: DIY Metal Polishing Brush

Yeah, the first one I made was built for use in a 1/4 inch die grinder or 1/4 inch 90 degree die grinder . I was working mostly with steel at the time and we used a variety of different deburring pads but none of them was very good at the extra fine polishing. You can make steel shine like a mirror ...

DIY Metal Polishing Brush

Well folks, here's a simple little DIY project that only takes about 5 or 10 minutes. This little brush fits in my drill and makes polishing soda cans a little easier. It would be super easy if my drill was faster but it's not. I made one of these for an air tool years ago and it was super slick. A ...

Re: has he lost his mind or is he trying to go out a business?

Zelph, that looks like the same general direction I was considering with my remote stove.
An entire soda can type burner is too much stove.

Re: Voting for April, 2009 [test poll for next month]

P.S. -
Feel free to vote for one of the fake entries and post comments in this discussion/poll.
I'll probably delete this whole thing though at the end of the month since it's only a test.
Let me know what all of you think about it.

Re: cooking rice

Afterwards, I added a small amount of water to the pot, swirled it around with my spoon to clean off the walls and then drank it. Drinking your dishwater can supply more nutrients. Just d...

Re: How much fuel?

I don't measure in the real world... even though I probably should.
I generally have more fuel than I need for the 2-3 days that I am going to be out. I have a general idea of how full to fill the stove to get a boil so I go with that and basically guess.
