Re: Hi

I'll have one look that one up. Lately I've been messing with wood burning stoves but nothing different. I don't even use any of my alcohol stoves anymore... I only use the two I got from you. :D

Re: FeatherFire

the featherfire had a slight problem that took a little while to overcome. it worked its way to the bottom of my pack and was a little damaged. its better now but it took a little while to fix. the testing went well on it. after a little bit of playing with it you kinda get the feel of it.

Re: Optimus Crux

still looking for that perfect stove and cook set combo but i dont think that it will ever happen. so i have settled on the fact that the needs for every trip is different so i need options. more gear is never a bad thing, right?

Re: Found a backpack,

Just food for thought but what i have thought about in the past was taking a cheap heavy pack from walmart that has a comfortable internal frame and cutting the internal frame and back off the pack. Then sewing a pack together using the back with the internal frame in it. Personally the only externa...

Re: Found a backpack,

That sounds like a good plan. The new pack and straps would cut the weight some. Personally, my pack is the only place i wont cut the comfort for weight. Im still looking for a pack that is light weight enough and still has the same level of comfort i want in a pack. I want a pack with a frame so im...
