Well the only good part to the aluminum fusilage is that you can have a fire and it not burn (if you shape it right) and you could form a cup and or bowl out of the aluminum to use for melting snow, the tires would be good for getting and keeping a fire going plus it gives off black smoke to aid in ...

Yeah it is prolly 1.9 oz per Sq Yd just like the 1.1 oz silnylon is 1.3 oz on a 60" roll

now it's not Cuben Fiber in weight or price ;) but if you like to stealth camp it would work well for you.


Oh yeah I think the 1/8" grids are Poly and not nylon

Yeah sharks while kayaking not good. about 11 or so years ago when I was still living in the Ca Bay Area a friend wanted to to try out kayaking and I had two sit on tops so we went out to Martins beach (his idea) six sets of breaks :roll: just south of San Francisco and we were out for about 20 mins...

Sorry I did not go into detail on my first post but the best thing you can do is learn how to treat so taking a BLS (basic life suport) class would be a very good thing or first responder class and or wilderness medicine here are some ideas but even just getting some books is good and maybe photo co...
