Yeah I think I will still pick up some aircraft stripper (paint stripper) there is two and one is better than the other I used it a lot back when I painted cars years ago. and see how it works to remove the liner and if it goes well I will send it to my friend to TIG for me. It may just be worth fin...

I already have a GSI dualist,Al cup,Ti sierra cup but I would like to find a way to make one for cheap that is already shaped to be stronger than a soda can so I guess I can look around for some thing else.

I am glad I found this BB because I have got a few Hienenken cans set up and I was waiting for a friend to do some TIG work on them for me before I would have used them. Now with the concerns of the liner have you guys found a way to remove it so it would be safe to use ? I had thought about trying ...

Yeah Bend is at the base (3600' elevation) of the east side of the cascades where the high desert meets the forrest. I can drive 25-30 minutes west and be close to the PCT or 25-30 minutes east and be in the middle of the high desert, it is a very cool place to live. Really nice location only 30 mi...

yeah some of the snow was deep but most was not to bad and she is not my wife just a lady I know that hikes, my wife likes the base camping style and not hiking miles and miles :lol:

MSR snow shoes

So I went to check out a used gear store here in Bend Oregon a few weeks ago and I walked out with a set of MSR Denali Ascent's with 8" tails for $80 and they look brand new Sweet 8-)

I use runners but since I now live in Oregon I need a pair of GTX runners for the rain and snow till then I use my old Danners in the snow.
