aah! I have been juked by the login monster at least twice in the last few days. The short version: Yep I insert the stake and aim for an air hole with the crook end. the shape that works best is the one shown on the right of the three stakes in middle of this picture. http://i4.photobucket.com/albu...

Thanks guys, I pretty much light tham all from the top now.The only time i dont is when I am just trying bake or simmer and want to get to coals more quickly. I modified my normal drilling pattern for TLUD and the top edge of the stove for a more even flame in alcohol mode. I want to order a starlyt...

Been testing out a new stove. Im calling it the Guidelite. it is a little heavier duty than most of the other 14floz cups.
