Re: Tornado Cat

I know the yellow container Heet has a sticky residue inherant in the formula. DarenN made me a pepsi can stove. It boiled 2-cups water in record time. The next burn, the time to boil dropped dramatically. The boil time became only average. I don't use that type alcohol stove, for that reason. I lik...

Re: Oware AsymTarp 1

I intended a really effective windbreak, as well, no more height than a "dew cloth" in a ShangriLa3 tipi. I could sleep during the day, I suppose. It might keep the sun off, if a really hot day as well. I think there exists aluminized cuben: cuben was developed for sails, I think. I have s...

Re: New STUFF for 2015

Zelph, are you going to do more with pot stands and snap fit?

I would like the 1-cup can to snap fit.

Re: New STUFF for 2015

I like Nescafe Classico coffee. I like especially that it has a crema at the surface. I have wondered: is it crema of coffee house coffee? I think it has the granules, but it also has an amount of fine particulate powder that makes the "crema". Maybe it only appears to be a "true"...

Re: Oware AsymTarp 1

The aluminized nylon I found online is quite heavy. It would only be lightweight on a canvas tent. I have purchased a mylar Heetsheets, instead. It is crinkly, and, noisy. <sigh> Anyway, I used one side of the Oware AsymTarp1 as a pattern for the mylar. I could clip it in place, however the wind wou...

Where is Cadyak?

I really liked his design ideas.

I wouldn't mind having that windscreen, again. It is "lost".

Re: Have You Seen This?

How did it work out? Is it a design you will sell? I have discovered my Cadyak "The Stump". It was in the "undiscovered" storage. ;-) It has a small wood fire chamber. It also has the insulated coffee mug for use as a container in the complete set for food or drink. Do you think ...
