Jacks' River Trip (6/16-6/17/12)

I've been wanting to get up to Jack's River for 3 years now. This weekend I was able to make it work out time wise. I met my friend at 5 AM to head to the trail. We got there about 8 AM and headed out. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-EYH6wcc5-cM/T95cfT2ObMI/AAAAAAAANls/QFUSWTVGS6E/s400/IMG_0314.J...

Re: Silicone mug lids?

Ended up passing on the silicone cup/bowl combo at WM. Mostly cause I couldn't justify it. However, the large one WILL fit a SP600. ;)

Re: WOOHOO!

Thanks Connie. Means a lot coming from someone who has pretty much seen and used a LOT of the gear out there.

As for the label.... that's funny. However, I DO have a machine that can do embroidering, hrmm...... NO JEREMY, NO NO NO! LOL! :DP:

I'm gonna pick up the bowls today. Almost too hard to resist. That and I need a new bladder anyway for this weekend.

Here I am opening up the large black down coat. By far of the 3 coats the smaller vest had the highest FP down. Lots of down, no feathers really a...

I used metal "squeeze clips" like you'd use on stacks of paper or potato chip bags to hold it together to get it started. From there I found it easier to roll a...
