Venturi Alcohol Stove?
I have been playing with this idea for at least a week and I can't seem to make anything truly useful with it. The fact of the matter is I think that a natural draft venturi derives it "power" from length, so If I could have a one foot tall stove I'd be in great shape, thats just not very practical....

Nice video Red. Would be interesting to see what happens as you shorted the length of the venom bottle. Maybe find the minimum length required to produce the effect. Thanks. I thought about shortening the venom bottle but more than anything I was overcome by laziness! I tried it with a Al. bud bott...

I was just in the basement playing with fire (as I do) and just got to holding different pieces of various leftovers from others stoves over flames to see what would happen. It was not particularly high, just a couple thousand feet. But when we started we were down in basically rain forest conditions and as we ascended we'd see patches of snow here and there, then ankle deep, then knee deep then it was too deep and we turned around. Beautiful area.
