I so want to build one of these but every kmart I go to does not have the mesh globe replacements. Grrr.

Zelph, or anyone, is there something else that has been found to work?

Thanks for the heads up. Where did you get it. Have you ever cut the end of a toothpaste tube off and tried filling the tube with peanutbutter or a mix of peanutbutter and honey and then resealing the large end? Jif now makes a "snack size" which might be of interest if you still want all the sugar...

I have cooked the just add water betty crocker muffin mixes on the alcohol stove. Pretty easy. The "pan bread" website are probably just modified bannock type recipes, easily found on the web. I bake stuff with bisquick all the time basically the same idea.

An adjustable potato masher.

No matter what size potato you have, this device can be set to the proper dimension to pulverize that spud in a single stroke.
