It's one piece.... we cut the stainless pipe at a 45 the welded the two to make a 90. the divider for air and fuel runs through the horizontal piece for all but the last four inches where we welded a stainless piece of expanded metal. The Vermiculite completely surrounds the flue and burn chamber. T...

we welded a coupling in the top, funneled the vermiculite in and "settled" it the screwed the plug in. It's actually a freon tank............but there are risk there too.
The guy soaked it in an amonia solution to kill the freon first.

That was indeed first burn, but it's insulated with vermiculaite between the burn chamber and outside walls.
