LOL........... There is a pocket of flesh about the size of your fist right under that armour plate you are talking about. It's really shameful how many guys throw that away, or even clean the tuna appropriately. I am not a proud man, I have gotten literally pounds of Tuna of carcasses after the guy...

There is a way we cook Carp down here........... You rap the thing in a dirty towel, season it like crazy, cook it for four hours, then you throw the Carp away and eat the towel. Zelhp, while I can't guarantee when, I can guarantee fresh tuna, unless three to four days from gulf to mouth is not fres...

LOL We charter some, but I do get a chance to get my own boat out when weather permits. I will be making a trek from Lake Maurepas to Perdido pass in a few weeks for the annual Mulle...

I guess "cool" is better....... Actually I am blessed to get out several times a year myself. We fish out of the mouth of the Mississippi. Also duck hunt that area. Carry the alcohol stoves in our boats and blind bags for emergency and heat!! My personal best so far is a Yellow Fin Tuna that scaled ...

Actually use one to cook fresh tuna. I like my tuna seared and cold in the center. Load this little baby with charcoal and get it piping hot and cook one piece and then slice. Oh, there is nothing like tuna caught and cooked in the same day! Might I add.......Tuna is "lovin" fish. You bring home fre...

Certainly not against it myself.......

But I am not a purist by any means, and at 100-150 bucks I'll take my one gallon vegetable can for hardly nothing any day.
