Re: What to do with old gunracks...

That's what you have to do if you only have 3/4" thick wood..laminate 3 pieces with a couple matching strips of the contrasting wood..There is another method of making necks that use a single 3/4" piece of wood as wide as the neck..cutting the head portion off at 15 degrees and then reversing that p...

Re: Freezer bag omelets

I'll have to scramble some eggs today using the mother's milk Ziploc bags. I have to rig up something to keep the tip of the bag from coming in contact with the hot pot wall or get it to be completely submerged.
Like say..two bent paper clips?

Re: The Boss-Coil Stove

They usually have a keyway in the shaft and flywheel..either a full square shaft or a 1/2 round key on one side for getting it on easier.....Getting the flywheel pulled off might be the tough part...

Re: The Boss-Coil Stove

There' is a pin holding the flywheel in line to the correct position on the shaft...like a 1/8" square pin that aligns a pulley on the table saw or other tool.Have I done that also?Let's just say I KEEP 1/8" square stock on hand..buy it by the foot.Every tool I have in my ukulele shop that has a pul...
