That's what you have to do if you only have 3/4" thick wood..laminate 3 pieces with a couple matching strips of the contrasting wood..There is another method of making necks that use a single 3/4" piece of wood as wide as the neck..cutting the head portion off at 15 degrees and then reversing that p...

I went back to the thrift stores and found that other piece I need for the neck on the second one..for $2... :roll: The neck is laminated together with glue drying... What to do with old gunracks...

I would think the potstand would have a tendency for potential meltdown ..unless it's aircraft aluminum or something harder than normal aluminum sheeting..and his potstand looks like thicker aluminum than the base stand..maybe 1/8"..did I misred somthin there?

Like say..two bent paper clips?I'll have to scramble some eggs today using the mother's milk Ziploc bags. I have to rig up something to keep the tip of the bag from coming in contact with the hot pot wall or get it to be completely submerged.

They usually have a keyway in the shaft and flywheel..either a full square shaft or a 1/2 round key on one side for getting it on easier.....Getting the flywheel pulled off might be the tough part...

Since we get lots of asian pears..we've done those..did our peaches in strips when we had those..green beans for camping,etc..We are thinking blueberries since we go to farms and pick 15-20 lbs a year..plus ones on the trails..banana chips,mangoes,dried pineapple(want to try that sometime). There' is a pin holding the flywheel in line to the correct position on the shaft...like a 1/8" square pin that aligns a pulley on the table saw or other tool.Have I done that also?Let's just say I KEEP 1/8" square stock on hand..buy it by the foot.Every tool I have in my ukulele shop that has a pul...
