I have just spent two days at the beach trying to learn to surf, snow skiing is easier. I did some saltwater fishing lost the biggest fish I had every hooked but lost him while trying to land it, it got much bigger after a few beers and some red wine. Hi Ridgerunner,

You would get about 6 x 2 cups to boil but I can also use STD canisters as I have made a series of valves to fit.

This is one of my canister stoves, a SUL low profile side feed remote canister stove that is designed so it can be used with a windshield or the pot supports can be removed so it can fit under a Caldera cone.

I also would like to vote for Oops wood burning stove.

It reminds me of the Australian aboriginal people used to go walkabout with a piece of smoldering wood (called fire stick) so they could start a fire easily and quickly.
