I purchased Sarahs first book but sad to say never was really interested in preparing meals for freezer bags. I got addicted to Mountain House meals and never looked back. I like "easy" purchased Mountain House in #10 cans and repackaged them in freezer bags.

I am not fond of the expense of sending stuff in the mail, but I have an accumulation of "small stuff" I do not use.

I also have Sarah's first book.

I am not giving it up.

This coming week I'll be repackaging Mountain House meals.
A 3 day boy scout campout coming up. Going to teach them how to fish

and find geodes across the Mississippi river from Keokuk, Iowa....geode capital of the USA. And most important, how to build a campfire

I'll be using a compact Diawa fishing rod/reel that was gifted to me from a friend in Ohio

I'll be sure to take the "fish Skinner" also

for we will catch fish
