The second photo is just to add a little action to the screen and maybe confuse you old timers.

It's a hand tool used by a tradesman. What trade and the name of the tool. :zippo:

Just going on a wild guess, it is a tool for cleaning and shaping a horses hoof?

its a tool for log cabin to help fill the cracks and clean them out

tuck Pointers use a tool that looks a lot like this
to repointing chimneys, it cleanes and gives 3spacing guages.

Oops got close, he got to the house. :lol:

Username75 got a little closer with the chimney coming up to the roof.

It's a tool used by roofers when instaling "slate" tile onto the roofs. The spikey looking part is for poking nail holes and the end is for chipping and scribing the slate. The straight edge along its length for scribing straight lines.
