Pill Box or Ladies Compact sounds about right. The glue spot could be what held the mirror in place if it was a compact.

I think these containers were used in the Art Neauvou era. Those personal protection devices were not invented yet. Something about the days of old when knights were bold etc. etc. etc. :mrgreen:

What wasn't invented yet? The personal protection device? They used those in ancient Rome.
