would that cotton mop make good primer string for my whiteboxstove? do you think if I put some borax on the string it would prevent it from burning? the stuff like 20mule team borax. I heard it was suppose to act like a fire retardint

Well this will work take a paper napkin fold in half cut circle about 1/4 in. bigger then the stove put stove on it wet with alcohol makes a primer pan. But a can cover is better

primer pans are ok but i rather have something attached to the stove for less parts to carry :D call me lazzzzy :lol:

It looks like it's smaller than the one you have and also a different shape. It also looks like it's being held to the stove by a wire hook. Is benzene still made or has it been banned?
