large?

i've got a new idea to turn the vertical burner into a horizontal unit by machining an elbow fitting to go between the mixing tube and the burner head.
Daren..........
the copper fuel line is 1/8" O.D. and is used in furnaces to carry gas to the thermo-couple. it is very hard (stiff) in it's original condition and has to be annealled before it will bend.seudo_411 wrote:Started tinkering with gas again, just wanted to know, Is 3.8mm internal diameter hose, suitable for gas applications. or is it to large. And what size jet is good for using, pure butane gas. The way i see it the difference between the normal blends (80/20 ) and 100% is not that much to make a difference. but now for the main reason i posted here, Darren, on the topic of the copper tubing you used, for the preheat tubes, and that is brazed to the propane tank valve, what is it used for. because the hardware store has never heard of it.
You're so close!!!! go ahead make take the plungeVibe wrote:I've got to stay away from this thread.![]()
That stove looks like I could make most of it from a Bimba 011-DP air cylinder by cutting one end off and adding a burner head. And it's threaded for a #10-32 fitting already. Just add air access holes.
