これは、バカブンドさんが自作した、分離式のアルコールストーブです。バーナーは、16gです。
彼は、JSBの友人の一人です。彼は革新的な発想のストーブなどを開発しています。

kaowool という、非常に細かい人工的な耐熱繊維にアルコールを含ませて気化作用を、格段に良くなる改善をしました。

J-style preheater:この太い棒の先端は、バーナーの内部に延長されています。
             炎の熱がバーナータンクの底に、フィードバックされています。
             着火すると、アルコール溜まりを急速加熱することが出来ます。

特長
火力の調節が可能になりました。その理由は、バーナー部分の燃料残量によって、火力が変化するためです。
燃焼時間。圧倒的に長く連続して燃やすことが出来るようになりました。
バーナー部分だけでも、30ml容量がありますので、単独での使用も可能です。

JSBは、彼の作品を高く評価しています。今後も発展、進化していく途中です。

日本の自作ストーブ同好の人たちは沢山居ます。
JSBは、Bplite.comの人たちとも、発表や意見交換をしながら、楽しく発展させていきたいと思っています。

How is the overhead jet/preheater attached? There is mention made of adjusting the flame...How?

上面が開いているか、閉じている。その違いだけです。

I will enter your burner in our "Stove Of The Month Club" I will say to use a wire pot support ;) Burner and pot support = Stove ;)

The photos show that the extending, arched arm is a "Heat Grabber" to provide heat to the body of the burner to aid in "bloom" of the jets. The "kaowool" is used to control the evaporization of the fuel. To prevent "Radical" evaporization such as what happens in a "SuperCat" stove. You can see in the video that a "Radical" burn takes place when fuel is forced into the burner via squeezing the fuel bottle. Liquid fuel is able to touch the walls of the burner and Poooofff we have a flare up (radical) flame occur.

I have tested various materials that are in the "kaowool style" insulating materials. When they are burned in an opent atmosphere they have a tendency to "harden over" on the exposed surface to the air. They did not work well in the "StarLyte" type burners. After a few burn tests, the fuel would not penetrate the surface well to fill the burner. It seems the surface of the materials "fused" together to block the entry of fuel.

JSB's design is closed, so it will not be affected by what I just explained about open burners and the use of kaowool.
