Just curious what mike had in mind to make of it :)

What do you do with yours Oops? How well does it heat water? What was the name of the other coil stove that you showed in a photo. Are they big enough for a Heineken pot?

currently it is sitting on my bench!
been busy working on the housey house for impending baby arrival.

any day now!

the wick is cool - its copper with what looks like fiberglass inside. i was thinking of making a copper coil with fg inside that were fed from a closed fuel port.

i'll heat some water on it if I get a chance.

Did not order one. I have a half dozen or so coil burners that come in tins with stands. Check out Taykit and Stesco stoves. They are coil burners using the same principal as the Borde Bomb and dickson stoves that Oops showed us but are more affordable. The Taykit is getting a little pricey but not as bad as the Borde Bomb.

Opps, that stove I sent is the Lotus Stove, an original of mine, first introduced on the Rocks site remember now. It needs a wick, 1/2 ounce will boil 2 cups :D

Hang on toit, collectors item
