We need a good backpacking size Electric Stove. Alessandro gave us the power, now we have to act upon it!!! :D

It should work. This one from the same seller has a heat sink that would make an easy attachment to mug bottom with JB Weld Keep the mug in a well insulated cozy.

The lithium ion battery is the way to go for power.

Nah, the peltier was used to produce electricity to a small fan used in a DIY wood burner. It was in this thread:
