Simple capillary stove...
So I have been playing with A very simple CAS stove that is getting really good results as far as I can tell.
The design almost seems to easy for the results I am getting really.
I am basically using two bottoms of 12 oz cans the top portion is what I use to put horizontal indentations into the side walls and I then remove the center section from the bottom of the can.
I cut the other can A tad bit shorter than the top piece and place the two sections together and drill A few 1/16 holes around the top of pressure release.
Im sure this isnt A new design but it is new for me and its boiling two cups of room temp water in five minutes using 1/2 alcohol and an imusa 10 cm pot.
I will post A video if there is any interest in this at all.
Just trying to play with new things and this is new to me and I seem to like it more than the pressure stoves I have been playing with.

Go for it. I'm curious to see your results.

Here is A couple pictures.
I did two runs one using A 12 cm imusa pot another using a 10cm imusa pot.
I got the same results within seconds on both runs using 15 ml of heet.
Which was boil time of two cups of room temp water was 5 minutes, run time was 6 minutes.
This was tested inside with water temperature at roughly 80 degrees.
I will `continue to play around more and maybe make A cap for the top section as well as with 7.5 ounce cans which I think will work better for narrower pots.

Ok, now I can see clearly
I was thinking it had jets. It must really get to pumping out the flames once the stove gets hot....right?
Is it the same diameter as a fancy feast cat food can?

It is the diameter of a 12 ounce can . I think a bit wider than FF burner.
And yes it pumps out some pretty good heat
I am going to build a couple out of 7.5 ounce cans and see if it burns better with A small diameter pot ...
Also going to play around with a top for it .
