"Cold Man" 2 burner alcohol stove

Postby Allen » Wed Mar 12, 2008 9:50 am

You've all seen the Coleman 2 burner camping stoves?

I made this alcohol version for a friend as a joke, and thought someone here might get a laugh.
You can't see the flames because of the morning Sun, but it works. Theres enough room in the
cookie tin for fuel, lighter, windscreen, and a few snacks. The 2 open top side burning stoves are
made from V8 cans. They have an extra 1/4" added to the neck (above the 24 jetholes) so they
will work with a Heineken Can. They are J.B. Welded to the inside top of the cookie tin.

I call this the Cold Man 2 burner camp stove:

A rectangular Tin would be better. I was joking around when I did it, but it does work :)

I really do wan't to promote that size stove for use with the Heinekin Can. Very light and easy to make.

Cheers!

When we stop making stoves it's time to roll over and crawl into a hole somewhere :D

Whatever kind of stove we make we post em here. No such thing as a bad stove. :D

If it came in a folding green suite-case like container it would be off the charts. ;)

Thanks Guys :)

Mags,
I have a small folding green container that came with a socket wrench set that
could work. Thanks! :)
