Charcahol burner supplemental

Post by zelph » Thu Dec 16, 2010 12:30 pm

I've had quite a few rainy days this past summer while on my adventures. It wood have been nice to have wood fires every single day. 8-) So I'm working on what I call a "charcohol" stove

It's a supplemental alcohol burner that looks like burning embers. It can be placed inside wood burning stoves such as the woodgas, bushbuddy and others.

This video shows the burner inside a BB stove. It's burning hot right now so I have to slow it down a bit and even out the flames. Fine tuning is in the works.

Hi Dale, are you referring to the Woodgaz stove or this supplemental alcohol burner that takes on the look of burning embers?

Glad to have you here Dale.

Looks nice.

This makes the alcohol flame more visible?

I mean, this way it is easier to see the alcohol has ignited?

Thanks. It works nice. A little bit of a hassle to get it just right. When it rains again I'll work on it some more :D

I'm testing new stove creations and trying to catch up on stove back orders.

There is a product in there that is used on natural gas fire logs inside fireplaces.

I was so bad this past year, I got nothing, no coal....nothing
