I just started sending stoves myself. Usually I send batteries, (only in the winter, summer is too hot and they can explode in the carton), good cigars, good coffee, wet wipes, (Wal-Mart has unscented bio-degradable ones for just a little over $2 a pack), nylon dress socks, Aloe lotion, cotton swabs, ear plugs, etc. Thus far they have all been Jack Stove cook sets. But again, this was to a medical battalion. Unfortunately my wood burner is designed to go with my cook set. It works well as a stand-alone but is too clunky to be taken to heat water in a canteen cup.
As for beer cans, no they do not have them. Soda cans maybe. But alcohol is forbidden because Iraq and Afghanistan are Muslim nations. Alcohol is a big no-no over there. As is any kind of horror comics/books/movies and adult or pornographic materials, (this includes nudes or semi-nudes not just the hard stuff). Pork of just about any kind is a non-no as well. As are mass quantities of Bibles and non-Muslim religious material. You can send a Bible to someone, but not hundreds at a time to hand out to everyone. (Sorry Gideon

Other things not to send are any kind of compressed gas or aerosols. They tend to explode/leak when constantly exposed to 120+ degree heat. A good rule of thumb is to not send anything that you wouldn't leave on the dash of your car with the windows rolled up on a hot summer day. So Chapstick and lip balms are out as well. If you want to send things like deodorant or lip balms, just be sure to double bag them in Ziplocs and get all of the air out before you seal them. You might get lucky and they might make it intact, but if not, at least they didn't ruin anything else.
Don't ship toiletries with food. No one likes Oreos that taste and smell like Old Spice or Speed Stick. Stick deodorant taints everything it is shipped with when it gets hot. And again, if it can melt, spill or smells, double bag it before you ship it.
