Hey, I found some larger and lighter containers to make a new pocket stove. Sardine cans made of aluminum. Yes, I ate the sardines and wish I had some frogs to go along with them

Now I'll just ponder these 2 new cans for a while to match them up with right amenities. So far 1 - 4" x 22" windscreen and a super size StarLyte burner. The 2 tins are hinged with aluminum tape for now. The two together weigh 0.7 oz

The cloud formation photo was taken a while back this year just prior to a small rain shower. Included it just for the fun of it

I have(and have seen) some larger tins that would be just right for a double stove,about 3"X7"..think they were at dollar tree or some other cheap store ...that had ten 3/4" or so small candle tins inside..

Someone just sent me a nice container for a super pocket stove. Made of stainless steel. Holds 2 Starlyte mega burners that have 1.5 oz fuel capacity each. And guess what.....it fits in my back pocket. ..Thank you Steve in Cumberland.

I've been putting some pieces together for another pocket stove. I bought 2 mousetraps, cut the spring loaded gizmos off the board and left a little wood attached so I could jb weld it to the Altoids tin. The weld will dry over night and I'll put something inside to hold some fuel and try it out sometime tomorrow.

The wire on the traps is nice and sturdy plus it's cadmium plated for rust resistance.I'm expecting to boil 4 cups of water in a Kmart grease pot with the stove.

I need a name for it, any ideas?

2 traps in a package at Dollar Super Store for $1 plus tax. Altoids tin free from friend. LB weld left over from previous stove build. Time spent on it so far, not concerned
