Ok, that's a plus for the Esbitmizer. You're right, don't have to handle a snuffed out esbit. Just leave it in the burner.

thanks, good to be able to bounce back a little. Now I'm involved in helping my other daughter get her things packed up and ready for her departure. She is relocating to the state of Utah. Forbes Magazine says that's one of the states that is booming in job opportunities. She's going where the jobs are. She's leaving the nest again

1 "Esbitmizer" solid fuel esbit burner w/simmer capabilities. Includes 2 esbit cubes and 2 sheets of Carbon Felt(use with alcohol).
