Leaving it there for others to see was the right thing to do as it was too beefy for a walking stick and was not long and straight enough to use. You was to look for saplings that are about an inch in diameter and have a lot of viney vegetation growing in the area.

I'll be going out into an area on Thursday and Friday that has such a growth so I'll keep my eyes open.

I'm going camping again, leaving tomorrow and returning next week on Friday. The weather has calmed down and will be nice for an entire week for me. :D
