Something new on the horizon, The StarLyte Eureka!

A one piece StarLyte stove with an inovative "Vapor Modulator" that allows the use of Coleman fuel and alcohol. Tests are ongoing to include it's use in a Caldera Cone.

Why use Coleman fuel.....has more btu's than alcohol which equates to less fuel needed to boil 2 cups of water.

Tests:

One test got a boil of 2 cups at 23 min. and continued to boil for 7 more min. on 12ml of fuel.

Another test was able to boil 2 cups on 10ml of fuel.

The vapor modulator only adds another gram to the total weight of a StarLyte stove. Not too shabby.

What does the "vapor modulator" look like and how does it work?

It's "ring" shaped and sits right on the surface of the burner. It naturally promotes even vaporization of fuel. It prevents the burner from overheating. In other words it insulates the flame from the burner. Once I'm finished with my testing I'll do a photo of it. Right now I'm working on a large order of StarLyte burners for Trail Designs and also getting ready for the big "Black Friday" sale on Venom Black Mamba Super Stoves. I'm hunkered down right now waiting for the storms to pass. I'm in tornado alley, lucked out so far, house is still one piece.

Did you have some serious winds come through your area? Illinois ranked top honors for tornadoes yesterday. I was prepared to take shelter in my basement. I kept a watchful eye open for sure. The wind made the antenna raise up on my motor home. It operates on a worm gear dohickey that is located on the ceiling inside. The wind came from behind the rv and was able to get under the antenna and raise it .
