New Ridgeline Pot coming this month
Re: New Ridgeline Pot coming this month
Obiwan Dan,
I hope you are resting well. I bet your mind is flooded with all sorts of new inventions.
I do not know about everyone else, but I can hardly wait for Conquistador line.
A flat bottomed, 3 cup capacity and the original lid sounds great.
Any chance the flat bottomed Foster pot will fit inside this large Conquistador? If not, how about if the Conquistador was shortened so the top opening and lid was the full diameter of the can?
Regards,
Paul

Re: New Ridgeline Pot coming this month
The foster and the conquistador cans are same diameter so they will not nest inside one another.
I'll be offering a plastic container to store the conquistador 3 cup flat bottom can. It's the same container/caddy that Trail Designs offers for their Cone kits that utilize the Foster's pot. 1/2 of the plastic caddy can be used to support a freezer bag filled with your favorite meal while you pour hot water into the bag. Makes for an easy way to hold onto the bag of hot food while you munch it all gone
The caddy consists of two halves as shown in the one photo. The other photo shows the caddy with the Caldera Cone kit.

Re: New Ridgeline Pot coming this month
I will take two of the complete kits unless you have a one kit limit per person.
Looks like the 24 Oz Conquistador will fit in the 32Oz Conquistador. Any chance you will be offering the 24 oz flat bottom ridged pot as an additional, extra cost option?
If so I would also like two of the 24 oz flat bottom ridged pot.
I think two of the complete kits and two of the additional 24oz ridged flat bottom with original lid should hold me so now.
BUT>>>>> Depending on the price I might want to buy all five kits (my wife is going to kill me. ) I am pretty sure they will become collectors items; especially if you sign and number them.

Re: New Ridgeline Pot coming this month
Yippee,
I snagged three kits even though the tornado warnings (OCD, why do you ask?)were going off. I left a couple for others.
Dan, are you also going to be offering just the 32 oz Conquistador ridged pot plus original lid alone with or if necessary without the flat bottom.?
Regards and thanks.
