Dual Purpose Bottle/Pot
I started out with a 24oz bottle of energy drink. Cut the bottom off and added some rigelines to the body of the can and then added a flat bottom to it. It winds up holding 18oz. of water and the lid seals perfect for water tightness. I can now carry and heat 18oz of water in the same container. I plan to use the Cobalt Blue soloist or the Modified StarLyte stove. They work well under small diameter pots.
There are instructional videos on youtube(smokeeater) that show how to add tops and bottoms to these types of containers. there is a thread in this forum that shows how to add the ridges.

Thanks, it was a fun project. The stuff tastes ok at $3 a can. Like a 7-up with a little earthyness
The cans surface has tiny nibbies on it for a non-slip grip texture
I won't make any of these for sale due to the possibility of someone leaving the top screwed on tight while heating

You could sell it as a canteen with a disclaimer for any other uses
