It all sounds good to me.

I tried chocolate covered roasted coffee beans and hot chocolate as a chaser and got my fix of the coffee flavor without all the caffeine. One covered bean per gulp of hot chocolate

Well..we always have fresh beans around that I can "burr grind for the trip"... ..why I don't use instant. We also have some vacuum packed ground things like Tilly's...I don't know if they even sell instant up here any more... :o ..You know this IS Seattle..
Since I have a french press(or 3-4 of them),I'll make use of them..

Only in Seattle will you find so many coffee presses in the thrift stores :o My wife asks: isn't Seattle Starbucks home office?

Starbucks is where I bought the chocolate covered coffee beans.
