New Alcohol Stove with shut-off valve
New Alcohol Stove with shut-off valve
I got a new alcohol stove in the works that has a shut-off valve. It will be "legal" in areas out west where fire regulations say a stove must have a shut off valve in order to be used. I may do a "Kickstarter" fund raiser to promote it in California.

This project is still alive and well.
I got interested in another stove project
and Fancee Feest stoves are keeping me very busy. Lots of folks really liking that little power house.

This project is still alive and well.

Ok, here it is, first of it's kind. Legal in Western states during high risk drought conditions when fire bans are in effect.

Excellent!!! Now you figure out how you want to incorporate a pot support

It will rest on top of the burner when in use. It will attach around the outer diameter of the burner for storage. The pot support is same height as burner. I could attach a permanent support to the burner just like a StarLyte Stove. Store it in a lightweight plastic container or store it inside of a pot that has a diameter of 3.5".

Re: New Alcohol Stove with shut-off valve
When is someone going to design a pot support that just "screws up and down" around the outside of a stove for adjustable height, use, and storage?...(Hint,hint,hint..
..perhaps..threads or a step system..screws and knurled nuts in angled slots..
..just thinking out loud again..

Cost prohibitive by consumer...maybe not, if it's made of titanium they'll pay thru the nose without hesitationrealityguy wrote:When is someone going to design a pot support that just "screws up and down" around the outside of a stove for adjustable height, use, and storage?...(Hint,hint,hint....perhaps..threads or a step system..screws and knurled nuts in angled slots..
