LL Bean GoreTex Anorak

Post by S C Littlefield » Sun Jan 11, 2009 3:34 pm

I picked up a brand new goretex hooded rain coat from the GoodWill in Bangor, ME (a couple years back). It retailed (outdated model now) for $200.00. I paid $7.00 It's been my go-to shell layer for hiking and camping since I bought it, still looks brand new and it's been through a lot.

Nice find SC Littlefield. i have picked up a half dozen gore-tex items at the thrift stores the last few years for a few bucks. You have to love thriftin' ! :D Nothing like finding the big prize after the constant hunt !

Nice treasures!!!! I'm on the large side  Lots of good deals for smaller sizes but not in my size. Shucks!!!! I keep looking though :D I keep looking for "windbloc" fabric items. I have a LL Bean jacket that's made of the material, it surely does block the wind.
