yep! i found one on a Canadian website for $550 new. the company that makes them (Dickinson) is right here in Surrey, B.C. one of the guys at work used to be a pressman at Dickison. he's our pressman now, and a damn good one!

i had the kerosene/deisel version of the same heater on my sailboat when i had it. i hated that greasy smokey smelly cantancerous piece of crap so much that i just used the propane oven to heat the cabin.

we have a millwright that we call in to fix stuff that is beyond my capabilities. he and i were working on my coil-line and talking about sailboats and stoves and stuff. he has an Optimus 8R Hunter that he won't part with but he offerred the propane heater and i jumped at it. payed for it sight unseen. once i have the low pressure regulater and tank hookup sorted out i'm going to install it in the workshop, till i get another boat.

Good Score!.I've got a propane "fireplace " thing in the shop but ventless..should do something someday about that..1" flue should be pretty simple to install.
My shop is pretty chilly right now.I've got so much crap in front of the heater I can't fire it up!
