Steep and Cheap

Postby Ridgerunner » Mon Dec 20, 2010 11:03 pm

I got a good deal on a titanium pot and frypan lid at steep and cheap.com for $24. I must have got in just under the wire as I tried to copy and paste the deal here for members and they had already gone to a new item. :-(

I bought a new pot today also..calculates to a 5 gallon aluminum pot..9-1/2" in diameter and 13-1/2" high curves into a 7-1/2" top opening like a milk can..weighs 2lbs.I picked up a nice stainless lid for $1 so I'm into it for a whole $4!.. :o

Other than that..shopping was terrible..

Sorry..I looked at it and started thinking it was the perfect size for a tent wood stove..but would probably melt down..make one heck of a bear can!

Titanium?..well..it is a COOKPOT!

I guess you missed the laughing Icon in the other thread..when I said I never go off topic.. ;)

Here is the pot/pan/lid cookset.

Yes RG, you have to be quick on the site. When I first found it, there were 78 cooksets left out od 90 so I figured I had some time....wrong. by the time I got my account info, purchased one, and went back to the product, it was gone! At least I scored my first titanium cookware to go along with a virgo titanium stove. :D
