What have you found in the thrift stores that you can modify or use as is?

The first thing i tried was to crimp it with a roller tool but it is either too thick or too tough. It cut very easily with sissors. ;)

Let's hope it remains tough to hold up your 2 cups of water after the fire has been at it for a while.
