New thrift store score on 10/07

1 pair of hodgemans hip waiters brand new for 5.00.
Also went to the flea market today and found some nice vmc hooks and jig heads for 1.00 A pack,as well as A new shimano 2500 reel for 8.00.

I'm down in MS now and will see what is available on Monday. Different sections of the usa have different discard ideas. College towns are good for used items of interest. The area I'm in has a lot of hunt and fish interests. Going to start fishing next week.

I have been so busy lately with work and preparing funds for my thru hike this year that I havent really had any time to do mom and son date day where we spend the day thrift shopping , but I did manage to stop by one the other day and found A new with box aluminum coffee percolator for camping for 1.00..
Tomorrow we are planning A date day and I will be sure to update my finds,this time of year when the snowbirds as we say start coming back they tend to do some house cleaning from the off season and bring tons of stuff to the thrift stores...

I am almost positive it wasnt for there intended use,my first thought at looking at the pics was possible A heat deflector or type pf ground insulator for A burner hmmm

I was going to use it as a curved background reflector for small solar powered driveway lights.
