Zelph i got 3 almost like yours. The one on the right is in a cage that was tea light holder cut away not need put a can cover on top. I use it when i jb weld things fire it up put what that is got weld when it feel hot its cured take off let cool it only takes about a min. to cure it on stove then one or two to cool off.

P. S. in cold wheather when in shop fire it up put coffee cup on it keep it hot neet little heater

Interesting.

Is the weld as strong when cured that way?

Yep don't get it to hot or it does go to h---. i test it with a screw driver just as it start to get hard take of stove i done it so many times i can see it when done it gets shiner

Oops!!!!! forgot to say the burners are interesting. I like those thrift shop finds.

Those are Needle steralizer stoves used in WW1 and WW2
even viet name. it comes with a Cup and Cap with a
folding Handle, of which the stove and windsreen fits inside of it
ued wood Grain type Alcohol
so denatured and Methylated Alchy should do just fine
